Retired professor of English, dean, and deputy chancellor of Central Texas College District, I enjoy studying Spanish, traveling and helping people. I have visited more than 40 countries. Although I'm a resident of North-central Florida, I spend much of my time these days in Antigua, Guatemala.
Retired California public school Spanish teacher with 32 years of experience, I earned a BA in Spanish from California State University and my teaching credential and MS in in Education and Leadership from California State University--Fresno. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family. I am originally from Guatemala City, Guatemala but currently reside in Southern California.
Retired professor of humanities after 40 years of service with Florida State College at Jacksonville. As a parallel career, I spent more than 30 years working as a registered nurse in various settings I'm an avid, life-long traveler, having visited 49 of 50 states and much of Europe. Recently I earned a second MA in Theology from the University of Notre Dame. I live in North Florida.
