Silvia Garcia

Hola, my name is Silvia García, I live in Antigua, Guatemala. I am married and have 3 children of 30, 28, 18 years old. I came from a large, poor family with 10 children, but I overcame this extreme poverty. 

I studied social work in university, but I have been a teacher of Spanish as a second language for over thirty years. I love my work! I teach online using Skype, Zoom or Google Meet. I have a very flexible schedule, and we can arrange class times that work for you from once a week to six times a week. The standard class is one hour long; however, we can schedule for more or less time to meet your needs. We will work at your level with grammar, exercises, conversation and both written and verbal communication. 

I have traveled a little within Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Mexico. I'd like to visit Colombia. I enjoyed playing football (soccer) when I was younger and continue to watch it. I enjoy spending time doing family activities. My talents are cooking and being a good listener. My desire for myself is to be healthy; for my children, their professional development; and for Guatemala, peace. .
